www.excaliburtrial.com is a site created by 10 Degrees as part of a research project undertaken by the University of Southampton (the “University” or “we”, or “us”), on the feasibility of conducting a clinical trial in herbal treatment for COPD in the UK.
By using www.excaliburtrial.com (the ‘Website’), you confirm that you accept the following terms of use (“Terms of Use”) and that you agree to comply with them. By using and submitting to the Website, you indicate that you have read and accepted our Terms of Use:
When you register for the trial on the Website, you will be asked to provide details including your name, email address, telephone number, address and GP practice. You are responsible for the information that you enter onto the Website.
Intellectual property and acceptable use

All Content included on the Website, unless uploaded by Users, is the property of 10 Degrees and the University of Southampton. In these terms and conditions, Content means any graphics, audio, video, software, data compilations, page layout, underlying code and software, other than those credited to a third party. You will be asked to submit data such as your name, email address, telephone number, address and GP practice. Please note that the information you upload to the Website will be visible to the University of Southampton research staff and delegated trial staff at your GP Practice. Your data will be processed as described in the Website’s Privacy Notice. Your data will be accessed only by our university research team; delegated trial staff at your GP Practice; and delegated 10 Degrees staff where necessary.

Anonymised data will be used to report use of the Website. Any data collected or generated on the Website will be treated according to the Data Protection Act 2018 that mirrors the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016 (GDPR) and the University of Southampton’s Data Protection Policy, which you can find here [Link].
